For those that have eaten there what did you think? We are thinking of going there one night because we love fish/seafood and DD love aquariums. Yay or nay?

I went with my sister when we went on our girls only trip last year because she LOVES seafood. It wasnt that great. I dont like fish too much and I had the pork chop which we had to send back because it was raw in the middle. It was very loud we found too.

We REALLY enjoyed it in 2007. The atmosphere lived up to my hopes, and the food was really good. DH got a steak, I got king crab legs, and we went halfsies. I was disappointed that they took the crab legs off the menu. But I would definitely eat there again. Right now we are in the process of trying new places at Epcot, but will return to Coral Reef for sure.

We loved it last August, and hope for an ADR when I call them in this Thursday.

Here is an excerpt from this past November's trip report:

Off to dinner at Coral Reef we go. We are early and have to wait, but it's totally worth it. I must say, if you ever get to request a waiter, Tony is awesome! This guy is worth his weight in gold. He keeps on top of my high maintenance family and then some. He laughs with us, kids around with us and gives us tips on things in the park and in the tank. He brings DD17's friend refills of Coke by 2's. The kids kept asking for the pineapple out of my alcohol drink and he would play games with them to get it. Now keep in mind these are 17 & 19 year olds and he has them totally entertained. When we ordered dessert he brought them each a bonus plate of pineapple. What a guy! I stopped by the desk on the way out and asked them to tell the manager that we will come back because of Tony.

Oh yes, the food. DSonIL had the mahi mahi and it was delish. DD19 & I had the pork tenderloin and it was very yummy. DH had the steak. DD's friend had the salmon, DD17 had the chicken. All of the food here was excellent. Another place I'd highly recommend and go to again. Tony is a bonus :)

We have eaten there a couple of times. Each time we enjoyed our meals. My DH and DD usually gets some type of seafood and my DS and I usually get the steak. We have always liked the food, service and atmosphere. We haven't eaten there in a couple trips, however, that is just because we have been trying to eat at some different resturants.

We ate there Dec. 30 last year. Despite the parks being crowded like no other, the restaurant was on-time. We were seated right against the tank. The restaurant was SUPER loud, but it was worth it. The ambience was amazing- definitely a great experience at Disney. I also enjoyed the food. We hope to go back again this holiday season as well.

We ate there in December last year. We didn't really know what to expect, but DW wanted to get the diver. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our meal was very good and our server was very attentive and helpful. The diver was great - she gave us a personalized anniversary message. Although, I heard the diver program has been discontinued, I would still recommend Coral Reef.

A "yay" for from us. We love Coral Reef. I had the BEST steak there in Sept, we love the creamy lobster soup...DD6 has some sort of pineapple/coconut smoothie that she adored..I have also had the lobster salad at lunch and thought it was excellent. The service has always been fantastic. We are having lunch there in June. :)

if you use the dinning plan it is great. we have been twice in the last two years, both time we have 13 adults (10 have special needs) and everyone got something different. I am not a seafood lover and the stake was VERY GOOD. for those that had the seafood they enjoyed it. the servers are always friendly, the view is great. the desserts WERE AWESOME!!! chocolate wave and the creme burle were to die for.
its pricey. with the 13 of us the bill came out to be about $1500.00 thank god for the dinning plan.

Yay from me. We ate here in Dec 08 and this was DSIL's favorite meal/restaurant. He loved the food and the atmosphere. We all had good luck with our meals. I had the mahi-mahi and DSIL and DD had the lobster salad and lobster bisque. DGD (age 2) had some pasta with apples. The waiter we had was awesome, cannot remember his name. He brought DGD some extra brown sugar for her apples. While this is not my personal favorite restaurant, I would definitely eat here again.

Its one of my all time favs.

It is loud when its hopping. If you go at off hours, it is quieter.

The decor is awesome.

The tank is HUGE! Its fun to sit there with your kids and look for fish in the tank. Romantic if you dont have kids. Dim lights, rich colors.

I havent tried anything there that I didnt like. I had the lobster salad, lobster soup, salmon, pork tenderloin, and the kids build-a-sundae is cute. The chocolate lava cake thing is SOOO good. You have to get that!

We didn't like it at all for lunch in February, so I guess I'm the voice of dissent. Make sure you ask to be near the tank if it's important to you, I wish I had, we were put all the way in the bank and could hardly see the tank at all, my kids couldn't see it. The food was gross, and I'm not picky. Essentially, if you're on the dining plan and you ask for a good table, go for it, you might have a good experience. Otherwise there's WAY better choices!
