I have been to all of these restuarants within the past two months.
Coral Reef: We really liked this. The mahi was fresh and delicious. My sis had a trout special that she did not care for (bland). I thought the portions were fine. The kids meals were fine. Service was outstanding. My nephew was being difficult and the waiter was a real pro about it. Would definitely return.
Flying Fish: Excellent. I really like the feel of the room at FF. Excellent service again. Very fresh fish, lots of choices. Good wine list. We eat here most every trip.
Alfredos: Just OK. We tried the antipasto (good), the pasta sampler, and the alfredo. The tomato sauce on the sampler was way too sweet for our tastes. My DH liked the alfredo, but I could not eat it--way too rich, and I love cream, butter, cheese, etc. Service was good and the room is nicely decorated. The tables are a little close together, but not too bad. I would go back if someone in my party really wanted to, but it would not be my first choice.
Akershus (Princess Storybook dinner): First course is a buffet of cold items--salads, meats, cheeses, breads, etc. There are a few Norweigan dishes, various herrings and native goat cheese. Most of the buffet offerings are pretty basic. The entrees were fine, nothing spectacular, though the poritions are way too large. The room is nice and there is good space around the tables. The princess interaction is brief but good. I would do it again if the kids wanted to go, but otherwise not.
