Coral Reef ADR @ 7:50pm

This board has been so helpful since I have joined, all my questions have been answered with great information. My wife and I are taking our 2yr old daughter ( I guess that would be: DH + DW + DD ) for her birthday in November. We have included the DDP, so I was wondering if anyone has had a ADR at the Coral Reef around 8PM before and if so, could you tell me about your experience? We are spending the entire at Epcot so after dinner we will be watching the firework show. I think my DW told me that it would also be an EMH @ Epcot, so that is like a doulble bonus!!

Hi,

I would suggest you get to Coral Reef 20-30 minutes early and see if they will seat you. If you get there at 7:50 you might have to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated, and then you will either have to ZOOM through dinner and run to World Showcase to see Illuminations, or you will miss it.

I have not been to Coral Reef (yet!) but the past two years ALL our dining plan TS meals have taken about 2 hours. (Some a few minutes less, some a few minutes more). Most places also made us wait 10-15 past our ADR time to be seated (one trip was free dining, the other was not). I am sure there are things you could do to speed the meal along, (order app & entree at the same time, order dessert before you've finished your entree, etc.) I also agree that arriving well in advance of your ADR time is a good idea.
