Coral Reef??!? 2 credits now?!?!?****EDITED IT IS ONLY 1 CREDIT***

It's not showing that way on anything I've seen, where did you see it?

When the dining plan first started, the CR was two credits, but that was a few years ago.

On allears, it's still listed as 1 credit.

Unfortunately you are right. What a bummer!! I just checked the official WDW site and Coral Reef is now listed as a signature restaurant requiring 2 TS credits for 2009. :sad2:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, as the Coral Reef being a 1TS credit last year was one of the reasons we were considering it for 2009. I think that I am going to crunch the numbers and see if the DDP is really worth it for my family considering the restaurants we want to dine at next September.

Well crum! I had planned on going there for the 1st time this year too. We'll be doing 2 signature restaurants. I'd planned on Narcoossee's and Flying Fish. Would you recommend Coral Reef instead of one of the others?

I hope that doesn't start until 2009????? As I have an ADR there in 2 weeks and was counting it a 1 credit.

It is still listed as 1 TS for 2008. THe 2TS credits don't start until 1/1/09.
Enjoy Coral Reef; it was our favorite dining experience of our last trip.:thumbsup2

I liked Coral Reef MUCH MUCH better than Narcoosee's. I really thought Coral Reef was fantastic.

I dont' know if i believe it or not. CRT breakfast lunch or dinner is only listed as one TS and I doubt they would cut that back from 2 to 1 but yet make Coral Reef 2

Also, if you look at the link the disney page pulls up it says view2003 or soemthing like that. Maybe thats an old link to 2003's dining plan restaurants..that would explain CRT being shown as 1 and the Donalds breakfast being listed at the old location. I

JUST CALLED WDW DINNING LINE AND THE CM CHECKED FOR 2009 AND CORAL REEF IS STILL ONE CREDIT I GUESS YOU CAN CALL TO CONFIRM THAT IS WHAT I DONE, I LOVED CORAL REEF,AND WILL BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR AND WILL BE ON THE DINNING PLAN BUT WILL PAY OOP FOR LUNCH SINCE I LIKE THE MAUI MAUI AND DONT LIKE ANY OF THE DESSERTS THAT THEY OFFER SO IT IS CHEAPER FOR ME TO PAY OOP,AND I JUST CANT SEE HOW IT COULD BE SIGNATURE IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE LIKE CALI GRILL,AND NARCOOSES AND THE OTHER SIGNATURES.I THINK IF ANY PLACE THAT IS CONVERTED FROM A 1 TS CREDIT TO A SIGNATURE IT WOULD BE LECELLIAR,OR PSB!

1) I have the sheets for 2009 dining for Platinum, Deluxe, Dining.
2) None show 2-TS for Coral Reef.
3) And, all show 2-TS for CRT.

PS - All the sheets are Copyright Disney 073108.

Evan&Kimberly,
Thank you so much for calling for the information on the Coral Reef. That is good news!! Disney really needs to update their website to avoid confusion.
Thanks again!:thumbsup2

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining, and was told that Coral Reef is STILL considered 1 credit for 2008 and 2009. I'm not sure what's going on!

That sheet is definitely out of date--it has Yakitori house listed instead of Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining. Don't worry about Coral Reef, I don't think they'd switch that anyway.
