I am new to digital, I bought a camera for my trip and I am doing all I can to learn how to use it for my trip Monday  . I plan on downloading my pics each night (if my card is full and probably wil be :teeth: ) at Walgreen's outside the property (will have our own car :moped: ). Questions are:
1. Do I take my own CD-R to copy them to and
2. Do you just take your stick and put it into the machine?

Also any other tips that I should know?

I am going tomorrow to Walmart to print my first set of pics I just took with my camera so I will have some practice with it before I get to Disney. Just can't believe it's FINALLY here

They will make the cd for you, the cd is included in the price.
Someone will be there to help you download your pics.

Expect it to take an hour. They treat it the same as 1 hr developing there.

If your camera does movies, Walgreens doesn't copy them properly.
(I do mine at home using hp disc maker.)

They also leave clearing the pics from the card up to you.

also interested in this as I just bought a digital camera. I didn't know they took an hour to do this. After a long day at disney I hate to have to wait an hour. Are there any open 24 hours close by? thanks!!

Yeah, I wasn't too happy when they told me how long.

They really are a good option tho---only $2.99 for the disk and only one hour.

Disney - Epcot, has a cd service but they could take a whole day and it costs ALOT more.

Another idea would be to invest in a card with more memory. A standard 16 card for my olympus holds about 1 roll of film. I have a 64 and a 128 now and can take like 500 pictures before I have to unload the three of them.

I did this just last week at the new Super Wal Mart on 535. It's about 5 miles from the DTD entrance near I-4. It took less than 20 min., I didn't have to buy any pictures (the guy at Walgreens said I had to buy prints to get the CD and it would take at least an hour), and the really nice woman in photo helped me. I think it was 2.88 for the cd.

Vanyel, how did it work? Did they do it for you or is it set up so you do it and they help you if you need it? Did you notice if they were open 24 hours? I am afraid it will be so late when we get out of the parks a lot of places will be closed. Thank you so much for your help!! :earsgirl:

I didn't notice if it was 24 hours, sorry. Someone helped me from the camera department but it wasn't hard. You just follow the instructions on the photo machine. After it copies your memory device, they process the cd. It says 1-hr but since they weren't busy, it only took about 15-20 min. I might have a phone number on the envelope but it's at home and I'm at work. If it can wait until late this evening, send me a pm and I'll check the envelope.
