Copying FP+ Over to Others

I am trying the strategy of getting the tough FP by going for a single one. It worked for A&E. I heard that you can then sometimes invite family and friends over to your FP. I tried this feature but it only copied a couple of mine and not A&E. it game them Cinderella instead.
1. Is there a way to just invite them for one of your FP?
2. Is there a way to see what they will end up with before finalizing the invite?

One of the times I tried, it also dumped everybody's SDMT and gave them Splash instead! I had to go back and switch each person to a single attraction each, then change those one at a time back to 7D. Total heart failure, I went into V-fib for a few!

1- no you can't invite them to an individual just one fast pass. It's either all or nothing. Same thing with selecting for the day for yourself, you have to select all 3 instead of just 1

2-no, there's no way of telling. The system obviously tries to give the same exact fast passes so everything is copied. But when certain rides are already out of fast passes, it'll just automatically assign something else for that slot. You can go and edit that individual one to something else afterwards, but the one you wanted to copy will be gone

I did this for our March trip. I was trying to get the Frozen Sing-Along. I got it for one of us and tried to copy. Well, it wiped out the other people's TSMM just a few weeks before our trip Luckily, I was able to immediately go back and just get our original FP+, including TSMM. I guess no one had snagged it yet. I know that feeling of your heart dropping to the floor in front of your feet with your jaw not far behind. I have been reluctant to try it since.

In my case, it was operator error. I don't think I fully understood how it was supposed to work.
