Coppers creek vs. Fort wilderness Cabins

I would just start off by saying it would be two totally different stays. One is in a hotel setting where there are amenities within the building and transportation right outside (bus/boat). Fort Wilderness is going to require internal bus loops and possibly walking/golf carting the main area where pool/amenities reside.

I think it depends on what you are looking for.

DB3, understood. That’s al I probably need to know!
We’ve done the Bungalows at Polynesian, which was fantastic, but we are intrigued by the architecture of Coppers creek cabins, with a fireplace for in the winter. Very homey!
Thanks, David

Oh so I TOTALLY misunderstood. The Copper Creek Cabins are at the main Wilderness Lodge hotel. Fort Wilderness cabins are completely separate and sort of like a mobile home upgrade.

The CC Cabins are lovely and have all the amenities of the hotel. No need for golf carts as there wouldn't be any!

Ahh I wasn’t sure until you said this. Ok so the CC Cabins are a unique luxury 2bdrm experience that is quite point pricey and are located within walking distance to all the amenities of Wilderness Lodge, most similar to the Bungalows at the Poly.

The Ft Wilderness Cabins are going to be more like moderate+, 1bdrm camping cabins. They don’t have laundry in unit and are spread out over the expansive grounds of Ft Wilderness. Like the previous poster mentioned, you’ll likely need a golf cart or your own car to navigate around easily if you don’t want to deal with long internal bus loops. They’ll certainly be unique experience but I wouldn’t put them anywhere near the same level as the Cascade Cabins or the Bungalows.
