What happened to this restaurant? It was suppose to open in 1999 where did it go?

It never got beyond the planning stage. There was an issue with Copperfield if I remeber correctly.

I think they were supposed to be a chain of restaurants like Planet Hollywood but the whole thing never got going.

There were several issues, but the main one I remember was the restraunt was going to be one big magic show with levetating tables, disappearing items, etc. Great idea and concept but hard and expensive to pull off. I remember reading the cost of the restaraunt did not supporting the typical revenues a theme restaraunt provides.
