Copper Creek or Beach Club Studio Villa?

We are planning to go in March (2 adults, 1 teen and one 9 year old) and I am on the fence about Copper Creek Studio Villas or Beach Club Studio Villas. I have read that the BCV have been refurbed. There isn’t a huge price saving - BCV is only 500 more.

We are leaning towards BCV because of the proximity to Epcot and HS and love that we can walk, take the bus, boat or hop on the skyliner from there. The drawback so far is lack of dining. Not sure how warm it will be there in March to use a storm along bay.

Where CCV seems to have more dining and close to MK, no monorail but can take
Boat or bus there.

Would love the hear helpful Feedback to help me decide!

Personally if it's available I'd take Beach Club. The rooms at BCV are harder to get than CCV and Stormalong Bay is a nice perk with kids that age. Like you said, walking distance to Epcot and walking/skyliner access to HS. Lack of dining? There's plenty of food in Epcot and also there's some good food at BWV. BCV will also have murphy beds from the refurbishment and will likely be more comfortable than a pull out sofa. If you're really interested in the dining options at CCV you can always head there after going to MK for a bit for lunch at Geyser Point or something.

BCV will have a separate sleeping surface for each of the kids. That would be the deal breaker for me. Plus I LOVE being able to walk to Epcot and HS from BCV :)

As much as I love Copper Creek, I'd pick BC. The Murphy bed is far superior to the pull-out couch. The location is fabulous which is usually why we stay in that area. The resort itself is "meh" for me, but both studios are on the small side so the actual sleeping surfaces would be the clincher.

Definitely BCV. It's a beautiful resort with simple access to EP and HS, plus the pool. The refurb of BCV rooms is still going on now, but absolutely should be done by your trip in March. You should have no problems with enjoying the pool in March. We do it most years. We've stayed there often and have never found the area lacking for dining - more walkable options than CCV when you consider BC/YC, Swan, Dolphin, Swam Reserve, BW, and EPCOT (including great options at the Flower & Garden Festival booths that time of year) are all walkable. Lots of good options.

The real issue you will have is whether you can get either. It is now only 5-months out from March and typically BCV and CCV are booked full by 5-months out, except for possibly a stray day or two and for the super-point-expensive CCV cabins. When this close to your desired time, you need to approach the issue as (a) immediately try for a reservation and (b) take the first studio anywhere that you can find open for the time you want (and that choice may be limited to SSR).

As far as the distinction between the two: CCV studios are smaller than BCV, and BCV has the the less than twin size Murphy bed that pulls out of a cabinet, thus allowing your kids to have separate beds. BCV gives easy access to Epcot, CCV fairly easy boat access to MK. BCV has walkable access to many nearby restaurants at BC, YC, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin.

No lack of dinning at BCV. Restaurants at YC, BC, BWV on the boardwalk, at Swan and Dolphin and inside Epcot.

There's barely any availability at either of these resorts in March. I think the ship has sailed on this trip at a dvc villa. Cash room or 2025 only.

I assumed OP was talking about a confirmed reservation. If this reservation is not already in place, you're unlikely to be able to get these rooms at either resort OP.

The drawback so far is lack of dining.
There is more dining near BCV than just what is at the BC. You are ver close to BW, YC and the Swolphin. They all have good dining choices.

If you’re hitting both EP and HS, then BC would be the best bet.
