So we are planning a trip and just grabbed a Copper Creek studio for a long weekend.
BLT and Animal Kingdom are also available. Never stayed at BLT or Copper Creek and trying to stay in new places. Copper Creek looked nice as the BLT studios look a bit smaller.
Should we keep Copper Creek or try BLT.
I know BLT is closer to MK but not concerned with park proximity be more of a resort stay

How many are going?

CCV is slightly smaller overall in a studio but the layout is what makes BLT extremely tight.

If this is more of a resort stay I would go with CCV

Just 2 of us. The bathroom looked small in CCV from a video I saw but people seem to love CCV so I figured we give it a shot for 3 nights

I'm not sure if it is bigger or not but the CCV bathroom feels bigger to me as the vanity is much larger and is separate from the shower and toilet.

The BLT Studio bathroom is one of the few locations that has everything in one room.

We just did a split CCV-BLT stay a few weeks ago, but it was a bit apples-to-oranges as we had a CCV studio (us and 2 toddlers) and then a BLT lake view 2BR (previous crew plus my parents).

For us, Wilderness Lodge had more of a resort vibe-- the theming, things to do, etc. We also really liked Geyser Point. BLT, it felt like there were more things where you could order room service/pickup (well, over the bridge at the Contemporary, anyway). The bridge is pretty convenient, but it felt a little more of a split place (BLT/Contemporary) than CCV, where you just walk through the hallway to get to the Wilderness Lodge lobby (Boulder Ridge has a walk to the main WL lodge, but it's close). My wife didn't love the BLT theming. Though, BLT has a number of sneaky-good places to watch the MK fireworks (even if you don't have a theme-park view room).

If you're debating between the two, they're close enough that they're pretty easy to get between. We actually went to WL for dinner at Story Book while we stayed at BLT (walked from BLT to MK and took the boat over to CCV, then the bus from CCV back to BLT).

So, guess it just depends on what you want to prioritize??

Not sure if it's available when you're going, but is Boulder Ridge an option? We wandered over there while staying at CCV-- nice vibe, access to all the WL amenities, but a little quieter. And the potential for a newly refurbed room!

Completely agree with this. The newly refurbished BRV rooms will be a game changer at WL, especially since the BRV studios sleep 5 and costs less points than CCV studios.

Tried Boulder Ridge is not available I will keep stalking though thanks

Just did a split stay at CCV studio and BRV 1 br. WL is such a great resort. It's fairly compact, good places to eat and the boat ride to MK is delightful. Stay there. :D

If you plan to spend time at the pool, then it’s a no-brainer. Wilderness Lodge has two nice pools. BLT’s pool is far too small for the number of rooms at BLT.

I think the planners expected a lot of BLT guests to shlepp over to the pools at CR.
