Whoops! Sorry. Corrected!Hi Sayhello,
Please correct: my family and I are taking the June 10th pre-cruise add-on not the June 3rd.
thanks for setting up this thread,
Randi
Welcome to the ABD Forum, Terapin, and congrats on booking your ABD add-on! I've added you to the Roll Call on the first post of this thread. It looks like you will be travelling with DISers Tozzie, Mickey&JoshNut & DisneyHelen.
The dates are listed in the brochure. Other than that, you need to call ABD/DCL at (888) 272-0571, because the rates aren't listed anywhere (although someone else who has booked the add-on might be able to tell you). According to the brochure, there *is* an ABD add-on being offered in Copenhagen prior to the May 30th cruise, starting on May 27th. A lot of the add-ons have been reported as being sold out, but it couldn't hurt to call and find out.Where can I find rates and dates for this ABD add-on? Do you know if they are offering this prior to the May 30, 2015 departure from CPH?
Glad to hear it!Thank you! Just signed up by calling ABD directly!
I did the ABD add-on to a 12-night Med cruise in 2010. I absolutely LOVED it and would totally do it again if I took another cruise that offered an add-on! It was amazing to get off the boat first (even on tender days), get in 2 or 3 excursions in a day because all of the logistics were handled by ABD, to not wait in line to go into the Vatican or St. Peter's Basillica, to have all the meals included on port days, to have the Adventure Guides taking care of everything, to only have 40 people on all our excursions, to have our own bus, to have the same 38 people to relate to for each excursion (who became sort of like "family"), to have the Adventure Guides take photos throughout the excursions and provide water and snacks and sunscreen and bug spray, to have our own fabulous local guides at several of the ports, to get all photos taken by the ship's photographers included. And just to have the Adventure Guides with us for all of it rather than just a DCL tour guide.I just noticed the 7 day ABD Magic of the Baltics during the cruise. Why would you pick that over individually picking your shore excursions?
Has anyone done ABD during a cruise and if so, what was your experience?
