Hey, guys and gals!! I have been meaning to post this earlier...my DH and I went to WDW in May 2006 to celebrate our 4yr Anniversary.

One day on our trip, we spent the whole day at EPCOT WS (our favorite place to be). We went and had lunch at the German restaurant, met some really awesome folks! After lunch, we headed to Italy where I took a picture of the pavilion and the statue. We spent the rest of the day just wandering and enjoying WS. It was a fabulous day!!

In the evening, we did our family tradition, and sat in the tables at Mexico, so we could have a great view of the Illuminations show. We had dinner and drank some margaritas. Well, this really nice family sat down next to us, and we got to chatting. They had a little girl who was 6 yrs old, and she was celebrating her birthday at WDW!! It was her actually birthday that day. She was soo funny and really cute. Her parents were really nice, and we got to talking about WDW, and I passed on my tips, because it was their first time. We sat there and talked for like two hours before the show started. Once the show started, they said they were going to MGM the next day and doing the Fanstimic dinner deal, and we were soo shocked, becuase that is what we were doing the next day!!! But we didn't see them the next day and didn't see them again the rest of the trip.

Well, when I was looking through my pictures, I was looking at my pictures from Italy. When I looked at my picture of the statue in Italy that I took after our lunch, there was a family that had gotten in my picture (just walking in front of the statue when I snapped),and guess who it was???

You got it!! It was the family we met at Mexico!!! They were in my picture by chance before we had even met them!!! That is like a one in a billion chance...I should have played the Lotto that day!!! It is the coolest thing ever!!! Anyways, just wanted to share!!!

There really is MAGIC in WDW!!!! :tinker:

I really love stories like that!! Thanks for sharing!!

Reminds me of something that happened on our March trip to DL. Dh got up early on our last day, so he could go on the Walk in Walks footsteps tour. He left for the park an hour or so before the kids and I. When we got there, we had a wonderful few minutes with Peter Pan. First he was my shadow, then he sat on the ground and tied my dd7 shoes. When we told dh about it later, he was a bit sad he missed it. When we got back home I was showing him the pictures I took. Much to our surprise, dh was in the background of the picture with the tour group! 50,000 people in the park, I happened to have my husband in the back ground without knowing it!

He's the tall guy, in red, on the right side.

Great stories!

I have one about a fellow DISer from last Sept. DH and I were celebrating our 11th anniversary at WDW by ourselves and had decided to join some DISers on a Wishes cruise. We all met up but the cruise was cancelled due to bad weather...it was POURING. We had a few minutes of fun conversation with the other folks and then went our wet, soggy ways. The very next day DH and I are at the opening of MGM and who is chosen to open the park but the DISer who organized the cruise and his family?! I took tons of pictures of them and emailed to them once we all got home from our vacations. I felt like a peeping Tom while taking the pictures but it was neat to be able to share those with them.
