Coolers

There has been a lot of talk lately about coolers in the park, especially after the false alarm in Tomorrowland a few weeks ago.

My question is, are six-pack soft-sided coolers still allowed through security? Or are they totally banned?

Yes! I've been wondering the same thing. We haven't been in about 2 years and then we had no problem with our larger soft sided cooler.

However, I'm curious to find out if anyone has been recently (since the Tomorrowland incident) and taken in a soft sided (no wheels) cooler??

We are leaving in 3 days and I always pack in a cooler. I hope this time will be no different from all the rest!

Curious too. We will be there tomorrow. I have a backpack cooler (soft, no wheels & has backpack straps, smaller than a backpack though). Hope someone can answer tonight or else I will just be the guinea pig

I haven't heard anything about them being banned since the incident. I wouldn't worry about it.

Its a backpack cooler. Hold about a 12 pack if I had to guess. Been in and out a bunch at this point with it. No worries at all

Haven't been in years...so as long as the cooler is a "soft-sided" cooler it's allowed? I'm not planning on bringing anything huge, but figured I'd ask in case there are any other restrictions. TIA!

I think it all depends on the security people up front really. Even before the incident in Tomorrowland, I have witnessed a number of people being told they wouldn't be allowed into the park with the coolers. On one occasion, a husband got very upset with the wife because, apparently, she had talked him into bringing it despite his protests.

A few weeks ago there was a bomb scare in Tomorrowland--the whole area was evacuated. Turns out it was just burritos in a cooler.

Has anyone had any problems with coolers lately?
