Coolers in the parks

What do people do with them when they go on rides? I saw a family with a huge rolling one in line for the Safari. You don't always get picked up and dropped off in the same areas. Next thing I guess we will see is stroller parking, full of rolling coolers! I don't get it, the last thing I would want to do is lug something like that around with me all day.

This thread may be over a year old but we just returned from Disney and saw a lot of them. We also saw a family pushing a furniture dolly/cart with a large cooler on it and a child riding on top of the cooler.
