Hi! Our first WDW trip is in Sept and I'm trying to figure out how to carry snacks, milk, and water for m 13 month old. Are you allowed to take a cooler into the parks? I don't know how else to keep her milk cold. Any ideas?

They do sell milk if that is all you will be using the cooler for.

I believe the rule is soft-sided coolers only. Someone here on the DIS will be able to confirm (or deny)!

You can bring in drinks and snacks (we have a DD with food allergies, so we always bring snacks). However, I wouldn't want to be lugging milk around or worry a bout keeping it cold. We always buy milk in the parks. Most CS have whole milk if you're concerned about finding whole milk for the baby.

When my DS was really small, I used the cooler bags from his formula/breast milk to keep things cold. As he got older, we'd give him milk in the morning for his sippy cup, and then we'd buy whatever else he'd drink during the day, or he'd have water.

Personally, I would not want to be bothered with lugging a cooler around WDW all day long just to carry a few servings of milk, water or juice. They do sell all of those things at the parks, and I would purchase them as needed during the day. One of my goals in the park is to schlep as little stuff around with me as possible (because as the Mom, I always end up being the pack mule).

I was able to buy milk in the park - that was never a problem. I put a few juice boxes in the freezer and just tucked them under the stroller in the morning.
