cooler with adapter...worked out great!!!

My FIL bought us a cooler awhile back that you can plug into the car.

We wanted to try to use it in the room, so we bought an adapter for that (it wasn't even the same brand, but it worked-around $40).

This worked out great as it kept our milk and a few drinks cold. Just bring containers of Parmalat milk and you only have to keep the one that is open in the cooler. Another huge plus- it made the humming sound similar to a humidifier, so we never heard an noise from outside our room!!!

I bought one a while back that came with a car and a wall plug, and we've taken it on our last 2 trips. I wouldn't travel without it! We drive straight through from Mass, and it's great being able to pack it up at home with the babies bottles, juice boxes, fruit, jelly and other things, unplug it, carry it out to the truck, plug it back in and away we go! Nothing gets wet and soggy, and we don't have to bother with ice.

And I hear you about the noise. It's great white noise and really helped mask the sounds from the hall.

We've had ours for years and it has logged many miles of travel. It is just like having your own portable refrigerator but you can use it in the car and it is easy to transport. I highly recommend them.
