You and me both!! Even my a/c is falling down on the job tonight trying to keep it cool in here..

While I'm glad for the cool weather over the weekend, if Earl brings high winds and/or rain to our area it will really ruin the Labor Day festivities up here.. Sunday night is the annual bonfires around the lake (gorgeous sight from up on top of the hill :thumbsup2) - with the all day picnic taking place during the daylight hours..

I'm expecting at least 30 people here - and on my lot where DD and her family have their travel trailer - for the weekend (some will start rolling in as early as tomorrow - some will stay the entire weekend and others will just come for the day/night on Sunday) and there's no way in heck we can cram them all into these two places.. If the rain holds off though, we should be okay in terms of space..

Monday most everyone (except DD and her family) will put their boats and jet skis out of the lake; close up their places for the season; and head home till next year.. The time has gone by so fast!!!

Still hoping to be here until at least the end of November - or that "magic" December 1st date that I've been striving for.. All hinges on the weather..:goodvibes

It got all the way up to 77 today :banana::banana:

Extended forecast:

Thursday: high 73
Friday: high 68
Saturday: high 72

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

First football game of the season tomorrow and the weather is going to cooperate!

It's supposed to be a high of 66 here on Friday. SIXTY SIX!!!!!

Northeast heat wave # 6 or 7?

I am tired of it!!!

I feel like I spent my entire summer indoors because it has been too hot to go outside.

I am looking forward to the relief Earl will be bringing us, and thankful that I don't think Earl will be hitting us!

Cooler here in Ohio too!!

Being pregnant with this horribly hot summer I barely went outside. My poor kids have to beg me to take them out and then after 15 minutes I have to beg them to go back in :rotfl:

C. Ann, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and can stay at the lake until Dec. Many people here who go to campsites down the shore also pack up this weekend for the season. I am looking forward to getting things done and packing for Disney this coming week. :goodvibes

That is the cool temps that are heading towards the east! Can't wait, today should be the last day of the heat wave for us! :worship:

It has been in the high 80's here in Buffalo for a couple of days, so welcoming the cooler temps.:banana::banana:

Thank the good Lord above :worship:

I live in Vermont because I love the cooler temps, Fall, Winter and a shorter summer season.

This is crazy! We are officially in another heat wave as today is once again in the 90's.

I WELCOME this weekend - temps in the 60's. Love, love, love it!:thumbsup2

I hope today is the last day of heat and humidity. I am so tired of my air conditioner. There's a big difference between central air conditioning and the units used to cool down apartments.

I am looking forward to cool weather, fall foliage, and Halloween!
