Is the typical cooler size to take one of those 6-pack size? Is there is room under the stroller to carry that? I was thinking also about a "cooler jug" to carry strictly ice water...

What has been YOUR best cooler suggestion?

TIA

we have a soft-sided cooler that is slightly bigger than 6 pack size and it works great, it fits under our stroller which is only a small umbrella one. It's made by Arctic Zone, although I don't know if that makes much difference. We did have a cheapy one to start with, and that was hopeless as it dripped cold water on you once the ice started to melt. This one doesn't drip and in fact, the ice doesn't usually melt even on a hot Florida day.

I looked at getting a small hardsided cooler but there was no way it would go under the stroller.

they have never given our small soft cooler a second glance, they just do a security check and away we go.

I don't think a big picnic hamper sized cooler would be allowed, but it would be a hassle to drag around anyway.

I know you aren't allowed to bring food into the parks, but I think that really means full picnics, I have never had any problems with juice boxes and small snacks.

We brought in a 12 can pack or so soft sided cooler in filled mostly with bottled water and some other drinks (and some grapes) and had no problems with it. We actually hung it off the back of the stroller handle and that worked well. Security will have you open it and look in and that's about it.
