Cooler attractions for hot afternoons in MGM and MK

What are some of the cooler attractions to go to during the afternoons when it is hot at MK and MGM?

I know that it is best to go back to the resort during the afternoon, which we plan on doing most days, but there are a couple of days we plan on 'toughing' it out in the parks.

Any ideas?

Some of the cooler attractions at MK are Country Bear Jamboree, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and the Hall of Presidents (which by the way I find is also a great place for a short refreshing nap!!) There are probably a few others also.
I am not to familiar with MGM since it is not one of my favorites, but I think that The Little Mermaid and the Great Movie Ride are air conditioned......but nothing beats the pool at the resort in the middle of the day!

Chyam gave you a great plan for the, but left out a quick stop at the Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip while you walk from place to place! YUM! And Carosel of Progress if it's open when you are there. The que for Buzz Lighyear is not that bad, either.

And, a word of advice about MGM in the afternoon. We just happened upon a good spot for the Stars and Motors Cars Parade a few weekends ago. (Which, by the way, was a much better prade than I expected, and DD, 7, loved it). Anyway, it was at 5 or 5:30. We waited only 10 minutes, but let me tell you, standing in the middle of all of that cocrete, in the blazing sun with no shade around it got HOT quick! Definately get one of those Misty Mates fans or whatever they are called to cool yourself down. And bring a hat.

At MGM, try "Sounds Dangerous" starring Drew Carey. It's dark, 4 star air conditioning and the seats are soft. Just don't put on the earphones.

A great place for a power nap!
