cool thrift store find

I always go to GW< SA and others looking for disney finds

Im collecting the refillable mugs from the different resorts plus alot of t shirts--

anyways we were out yesterday and I found a visor

from here on the DIS

its really neat--
it has the DIS stitiched in blue with the castle in silver

along the side it has the website


that was my neat find for the weekend

That's definitely a cool thrift store find!! I love finding unique or hard-to-find things at the thrift stores.

One of my best (not cool or unique) finds was recently. I saw a beautiful dresser w/mirror at the thrift shop. It was BRAND NEW. The price was $250. Well, I didn't have the $ to spare so I thought it was a lost cause --- that is, until I saw the sign that they were having a 1/2 price sale on all furniture that Friday. Well, I made my DH get there before they opened (there is sometimes a line on 1/2 price day) because I had to be at work. He gets there and gets the dresser/mirror for the $125.

Well, when we get it home and up to our apartment, I do my inspection of it to find the brand, etc. I look it up online...... It goes for $895 (plus tax, of course!)

It's a great dresser and it looks great in my daughter's room (and can actually hold all her clothes with an extra drawer for her "stuff")

I have been thrifting and garage saling like mad the last year and am addicted! Bought a relic new purse that I had been wanting for $3. Awesome deals ladies!

I went to our local thrift store St. Vincent's yesterday & scored a bunch of New York Times bestseller paperback books for $6.00 and some change. I look them up on amazon create a book shopping list, keep it w/me in my wallet then head off to the garage sales & thrift stores.
