Several years ago we got a kid's meal at one of the parks that came in a molded plastic "lunchbox" with the 100 Years of Magic logo. The boys have used them as snack boxes for their hot lunch days for the past three years. Does anyone know if there is anything similar at any of the parks now?
I can't believe we'll be there in five days!!! :earsgirl:

Not positive- but I think Toy Story pizza has some sort of container. Beaches and Cream has a lunch for kids in a sand pail, Sci-Fi in MGM servers kids meals on frisbees.

But an easy one is popcorm - it comes in a nice bucket type of conatainer with a lid and handle.

Maybe someone else has a better idea. You could also go to guest relations at your resort of at the Park and ask.

Have a magical vacation !

I may stand corrected.
Here is what I fund from Deb Will's menu's:

Sci-Fi Dine In -> Have your drink served in a glow-in-the-dark souvenir cup with a glow cube $5.99

50's Prime Time Cafe->Mickey's Be-Bop Specialty Drink - cherry flavored sprite with Dad's electric glowing ice cube served in a souvenier cup $5.99

Rainforest Cafe -> Kid-sized portion of Coca-Cola products, milk or apple juice
in a souvenir cup for $1.99

Aunt Polly's -Tom Sawyer's Island - Magic King -> Child's Lunch Box $3.99
with Smucker's Uncrustable Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Chips and Raisins

Dolphin Fountain and Snack Shop - WDW Dolphin -> kids meals comes in a paper 57 Chevy car

Sorry I could not find more - mostly cups and ice cubes which light up.
The 57 Chevy cars can be folded, and brought home to reassemble.
The Dolphin Fountain also has great adult sandwhiches and ice cream.

If you are going to sea world, most of the kids meals come in a shamu shaped lunch box type of container.

The one at Tom Sawyer Island sounds promising. Isn't it silly the things we get excited over? These plastic lunchbox type containers are really perfect for sending snacks to school. Plus they're pretty durable. Ours are used every week and they are from the 100 Years of Magic celebration.

Can't believe it's almost here! :cool1:

We got a small blue lunchbox with our kids' meal at the Backlot Express in MGM. We ate there the week before Easter of this year. The lunch box cost a dollar extra when buying a kids meal. My understanding was that Tom Sawyer's Island only serves ice cream and snacks now.

That's it!! You just helped me remember Sherri. That's where we got them three years ago. I see a lunch at Backlot express in our future.

Another thread here on the restaurant board said that Aunt Polly's is only serving desserts now.

my kids got those lunchboxes at backlot express also. they love them. they did not cost extra when we got them, unless they have changed it since then.

We got a large cup with detachable compartment on the bottom at rainforest cafe in AK recently. Also, got sand buacket and shovel from Typhoon Lagoon.

We stopped by Aunt Polly's on 4/21, and yes, the menu only had desserts now.

At Typhoon Lagoon, another way to get a bucket :smooth: is to order the Garbage Pail sundae at Happy Landings. It's about $8, less than buying 4 ice cream cones, and definitely enough ice cream and toppings for a family of 4.

Any kids meals my kids ordered came in the new Mickey shaped serving plates, except at Sci-Fi drive in they used regular plates, not Frisbees.

check out the thread free stuff. It tells where to get the lunch boxes. Make sure you ask if it comes with the meal. Becouse one mom ordered one meal for one child and a diff. meal for the other and one got the lunch box and the other got the plate. It tells about the sand pails and plates and cups and tons of other stuff for free.
