We are not going till Feb 2015, but the Grandkids would be very excited to add some bling to their Magic Bands.

They are currently shipping them with your magic bands if you have a DVC Resort reservation. AP holders also get one designed for AP holders if they order a MB though the AP invitation on MyDisneyExperience.

They are including them with magic bands associated with DVC reservations. I believe they started with reservations arriving May 10.

I just hope they don't run out before our MB's are shipped at the end of June. Now, it would be really cool if they had a different DVC slider for each DVC resort!

They just started doing this about a month ago. I'm sure they wont run out since MBs are here to stay.

I don't know; the official announcement reads:

"These MagicSliders are complimentary, available only while supplies last and are not available for purchase on site."

Considering that every person staying in a DVC villa on points is getting one for their magic band, even guests of the members, I could see them running out sooner than people think. I doubt they will be gone before the end of summer, but I wouldn't be surprised if they run out before the end of the year.

I still think that resort specific sliders would be cool!

We just got our MBs for our upcoming trip for 9 of us. DH and I are the only DVC members but all 9 bands had the DVC sliders. Kids think they are cool but I will collect them at the end of the trip if anyone needs one if/after they run out.

We have a split stay coming up with 6 people total. That will be 12 sliders. I am taking them off our guests MB's before I give the bands to them!

We have a split stay at BCV OWK and VGF, we got 25 sliders...people staying are 9-10 and 10, so the first set didn't ship 100% for everyone but the kids aren't DVC members.

I assure you Disney is not making them for a limited time. They just put "while supplies last" so people can't complain if for a few days here and there they run out. OR if in the future (2-3 years from now) they stop making them.

With Disney trying to get more people excited about MBs I expect to see more FREE band accessories like these NOT less.

We had the Annual Passholder sliders sent to us with the Magic Bands ... but I had remembered reading on these boards that if you ask for a DVC slider at the resort they will give one to you and they did!

Yeah unlike the AP sliders, you can pickup the DVC ones at WDW.

I actually spoke with a dvc cm the other day and they stated an even better mb will be coming out this year. An actual dvc mb, not just a slider. He said it should be out for when we go on our trip in nov

I would expect Disney to update the design as time goes on. I feel the current bands are a little stiff.
