Cool Disney special on the Travel Channel today..

It was on last night too..called "Holidays at Disney World"...had main street and all kinds of footage from the Xmas parade at MVMCP! It's on today again at noon CST if anyone (like me ) would like to record it!

It is on Friday at 5pm too. Don't worry, I have it on tape (and yes I watch it from time to time) AND everytime I can catch it on the Travel Channel I do that too. NERD!! I also love the one that the food network does about the holidays at Disney, it's great too. Enjoy!

Last night there was an episode of "Modern Marvels" on the History channel which was all about Disney. I only watched the first hour cause it started at 10pm but it was really good. All about how the parks were built, how some of the rides work, and some info on Walt, himself.
Good Show. Hope they show it again someday in an earlier timeslot.

We have one of the cable boxes that can record shows, so I recorded it and was watching it with our kids last night!

There's also a special on Animal Kingdom and one on undiscovered secrets of WDW that has been playing periodically on the Travel Channel recently (I DVRd both of these too! hehe)...that we've been watching lately!

The one on secrets of WDW is really cool, I learned a few things I had not known before! Like...did you know there's a 48 foot SeaRay boat parked at the Grand Floridian you can charter to watch fireworks and have dinner on ? Pretty cool!


The kids just love them...each scene...Oh Dad..I've been there! /grin

Oh Dad..look it's Pluto! Goofy! etc etc

They ask me all the time to pull up our trip pictures on the computer so they can see them again too!

It's been on the Travel Channel at various times throughout the week actually. Last night at 5pm they had a special on the WDW Resorts which highlighted the 4 major theme parks...so it's in the "rotation" of currently playing specials. If you have a DVR cable box or Tivo..you can scroll ahead on the Travel Channel for the next few days and find it...and hit record like we do!
