cool breezes or cool shade????

Can't decide b/t POR and CBR.
I have stayed at the CBR and loved it. Have Never stayed at POR, but I hear great things about it. I think I'd rather stay at Alligator Bayou. I like the exterior from pictures I've seen, BUT the interior does NOT appeal to me...Tell me does the exterior make up for the inside? Is the main pool any better than the one at CBR? Is the ferry to DD worth the stay...is it appealing??? We're talking next week in the heat......So what is more appealing POR or CBR for this time of year? Oh more one thing, are there better breezes at the CBR or is the shade better at POR? Where would you stay?

I have stayed at both CBR and POR. I prefer CBR. It is more tropical and I find it easier to navigate. I also found the rooms at CBR brighter and cheerier. I didn't like the decorating style at POR. I didn't find the main pool at POR any better than CBR. I also thought bus service was much better at CBR. The property at POR is so expansive with the FQ and Riverside. I would definitely go back to CBR if it was a choice between that and POR. I also like the central location of CBR...You are kinda wedged between Epcot and MGM.

I am trying CSR this trip. I hope I like it as much (even in a different way than CBR)

We have stayed at both and I prefer the CBR rooms and the location. I like the beach too. The POR has a better pool and the food court is better but we seem to only use the food court once or twice during a vacation so it really isn't a factor for us. My kids liked the CBR pool but I think any pool is great when you are little and you have two parents playing with you.
