Cooking turkey in villa this year, what do you think about desert?

We were trying to figure out what to have for desert. My favorite is Chocolate Cream Pie. Since we are driving, it would be hard to get that pie to survive a 24 hour drive. So, we thought of bringing the ingredients and making the pie. But then... I had a great idea! There will be 7 of us, 4 adults, 3 kids....I have always wanted to try the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream. Soooooo, we may head over there after we eat.


YUMMY!!!!! Do you think they will deliver it to OKW? LOL!

Can't help ya here..... I've never had room for desert after Thanksgiven diner. And a couple hours later, I'd rather have leftovers then desert.

I say, enjoy the post meal activity of getting over to the Beach Club for the kitchen sink. Part of the fun is the presentation. If you burn a few calories getting over there, then maybe you'll feel less guilty when you order the kitchen sink!

Try the Sahara--it's my favorite desert. Now, the Kitchen Sink idea does sound yummy for dessert, though.

And if you are into Pumpkin Pie (or Apple or Pecan)...stop at Costco and pick one up. They have huge, fabulous pies! Their pumpkin is my favorite! Don't forget the whipped cream in the can.

there is a Costco here - but I hate the location so I haven't joined it - you have to be a member to shop here right????

I think you have to be a member to shop...but they may still have those one day shopping passes. It's been a while since I've seen one from them. I know Sams provides them, but you pay a 10% premium on the price of each item (They make most of their $$$ on the membership fee). They will let you go in and look around for as long as you like.

We are members of both Sams and Costco (isn't that sad? lol). I like Costco much better...but I really couldn't give you a reason for that. However, Sams is closer to me and Costco is in the middle of a traffic nightmare. Usually DH goes to Costco (on the way home from work) and I go to Sams.
