How long do you boil corn on the cob? And do you put it in the water right away or after it starts boiling?

I put my corn in when I put the pot on the stove, adding sugar and salt to the water. Once it comes to a boil, I let it boil for 15 minutes.

Bring water to a rolling boil. Add the corn. Return the water to the boil as quickly as possible and time for 3 minutes.

Have you ever tried making oven roasted corn? Its so easy, I couldn't imagine making it any other way aside from throwing it on the grill!!

You place the unpeeled ears of corn directly on the rack of a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Foolproof and yummy!

And the corn peels easier to me after its cooked. :flower:

Thanks for all the tips! I ended up boiling them for about 10 minutes and they were delicious! First corn of the season in my area.

I never tried roasting corn in the oven, but have done it on the BBQ.
