We will be staying in a family suite at ASM in october. While we have the free dinning plan most of our meals are already planned and booked except for breakfast. My kids will only eat a hot breakfast there's no such luck with a granola bar or cereal. :/ Since these rooms have a kitchenette is it allowed for me to bring an electric griddle to cook small breakfasts on?

Hello and welcome to Disboards! Unfortunately, I don't believe you're allowed to use those in the rooms. There are Microwaves so you could heat food up in that.

Sorry, those are not permitted, against the fire code. Microwaves are the only heating element allowed.

You could make hot cereal in the microwave.

Although you won't have a freezer, a package of microwaveable frozen breakfast sandwiches might keep OK in your fridge for a week.

There are precooked sausage or bacon that you could heat up in the microwave.

I brought an electric frying pan and cooked eggs, grilled cheese, pancakes, fried baloney sandwiches. The mousekeeper even washed it for me every day. If it wasn't allowed, I'm sure I would have been told about it. We didn't hide it because we figured it would be okay - it's a kitchenette with plenty of outlets.
