I have yet another food question for you all. It seems I will be making chili cheese dogs for dinner but I am at a loss for sides. Do any of you make chili-dogs and if so what do you serve beside it?

Thank you for all of your help. I'm sure there will be more questions asked of you on a weekly basis.

If it were me, I would just have some Fritos on the side...chili dogs and chili cheese fritos...mmmmmmmmm

When Rachel Ray had chili dogs on her show she served them with an oil and vinegar cole slaw and another salad that had corn kernels in it. Now when I make chili dogs I do the same. It does go very well together. ::yes::

Cole slaw, baked beans. Think picnic food. But, if I was serving this just to my family for dinner, I would feel the need to put some type of *redemptive* food in there, like steamed broccoli.

I would probably bake some frozen french fries and add corn.

I wanted something healthy as well...but have decided that the dogs alone are enough of a meal. I will make up for the lack of nutritional value later this week.

Thanks for the tips.

I serve chili cheese dogs by themselves or with carrot sticks and sliced up fruit.
