cooking a fresh ham

I've always used smoked ones but this was really on sale. Does anybody know what to do with a fresh ham.

I put min ein the crockpot with just a little bit of water and sprinkle brown sugar on it. YUMMY!

We are having Ham and scalloped potatoes tonight for dinner.

You guys know I mean fresh ham. Not smoked closer to pork. The recipes sound alot like what i would do with a smoked ham.

I happened to be watching the Food Network on Saturday and on one of my favorite shows, Paula's Home Cooking, there was an episode called Southern Comfort and she made a yummy looking fresh ham. (Paula Deen is "the Lady" behind The Lady and Sons which is one of the top restaurants in Savannah, GA)
