Cookie's BBQ vs Air Bar BBQ

I know that Cookie's BBQ is by the Family Beach, and Air Bar BBQ is on Serenity Beach, but do they both serve the same food? Is there covered seating available for Air BBQ?

We were on the June DD and the 1st stop we ate at Cookies..it wasn't bad, but it was nothing to write home about.

The 2nd stop we ate at Serenity Bay, IMHO the food there was better, and a higher quality selection. T Bones and lobster tails were avail, as well as some fresh fruits that I hadn't seen anywhere else on the cruise (mango/papaya). The seating area is picnic tables with umbrellas.

When I went on our 4 day, there was steak at Serenity Bay that was NOT available at Cookies. Sadly, no Lobster, but there wasn't lobster on our ship either so go figure! My understanding is the lobster is only on the 7 night cruises!

If you have the ability, go to Serenity Bay... it really is more serene!

Check out this thread about it. It will give you some more opinions. I found cookies to be better. When we went to Serenity Bay all they had was chicken and burgers, fruit, and ice cream. We ate a snack there and then on our way back to the ship we stopped at cookies. We were amazed because the selection was so much better. It amazes me how different peoples experiences with the meals on CC are. We never saw lobster or anything.

I had a spicy grilled chicken breast, it was yummy. There was also a pasta salad that had kalamata olives in it, I liked that as well. Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers were also avail.

What times are lunch served at both places? Would it be possible to have a snack with the kids and go to SB also? Thanks
