cookie question

I feel like Disney didn’t do enough creative ideas to keep people employed. This is a great idea.

Especially if it came with a token you could redeem once you did return to the parks. Even if it was just a free balloon or snack item or something. Hope is invaluable.

A lovely gift basket of Christmas treats and Disney tree ornaments with 4 fast passes? Yeah you could sell it for a serious penny.

well since it doesn't seem to be happening but a good idea, I will have to bake Deni's from Saturday Snacks. I just purchased mickey head shaped cookie cutters on amazon for the chocolate peppermint cookies for winter. And it would be so great if Disney could do more Chanukah merchandise too to purchase. It's coming soon and I would love to buy a 2020 pin, and some genuinely new merch for this upcoming holiday for home but every year they tend to recirculate same old same old. And no, we don't eat black and white cookies like at L'chaim booths on Chanukah. We eat chocolate coins called chanukah gelt and latkes.

We were the only Gentile family in a Jewish neighborhood in my teens, and were always invited over for Seders, and holidays (we also invited neighbors to celebrate our holidays, and had a huge neighborhood and beyond Christmas party every year). One of my favorite things to do on Chanukah was spinning the dreidel for that chocolate coin gelt! :) And I could also say all the characters on the dreidel in Hebrew! :)

While we are talking about recipes, I thought I'd share one we just made - Cinnamon Roll cookies! Super easy; take your favorite sugar cookie recipe, then roll it out. Don't go too big on this; it's easier if you have a smaller sheet to roll up - about 8x12 or so, 1/4" thick. For the cinnamon, take 2tbs butter (melted), 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Mix that up, then microwave it for about 10-15 seconds to get it good and runny. Spread that on the rolled-out sugar cookie, then roll that up. Cut into individual cookies, then bake that on a cookie sheet like any other sugar cookie.
One warning - you may need to add more milk to your sugar cookie recipe to get it to roll up. Our first attempt was too crumbly but that fixed it.
Second warning - these things are addictively good!
