Cooke's of Dublin

Hi
Cookes of Dublin is next door to Raglan Road. There's no charge to walk around there.

No, you do not need to pay any admission to the Pleasure Island area of Downtown Disney. Cooke's of Dublin is counter service located next to Raglan Road restaurant. It is in the Pleasure Island area between The Marketplace and the West Side.

I see on their menu they have a fried candy bar. Any good? And is that a snack credit?

The deep-fried snickers bar is a little piece of heaven on earth!! Haven't been to Cooks in two years and the family is still talking about it. Also recommend the chicken and leek pie and the fish and chips. We were not on the dining plan when we were there so I don't know if the candy bar is a snack credit. I would imagine that it would qualify.

Pleasure Island technically no longer exists. All the clubs have been closed, and there is no extra admission to enter anything except Disney Quest.

Per reports, the snack credit allowances at Cookes of Dublin are limited - it's not a Disney restaurant and they might limit what you can get. Ask when you are there.

The snack list on the snack thread lists the fried candy bars, so there is hope! :goodvibes

We tried the Doh Bars from Cookes of Dublin last January and used a snack credit. We weren't really happy with it surprisingly! We went on a Monday afternoon and there really wasn't anyone there but we still waited over 15 minutes! The Doh Bar itself was okay.. It was a fried outside filled with peanuts and melted chocolate.. Kinda weird! lol.. Overall its an interesting option for a snack credit but I think there are better options at DD for snacks.

DH and I ate lunch at Cookes of Dublin about 2 weeks ago. We were on our way back to the Marketplace after going up in the Characters in Flight balloon. (Which we loved.) We enjoyed our meals although, I would have liked 1 more scallop. My only negative is that there is very little indoor seating and there did not appear to be much shade at the outdoor tables.

Anyway, the Doh-Bar is still on the menu. (I just looked at my photo of the menu.) It is NOT available as dessert with the cs meal and I don't know if it can be bought with a snack credit.
