We were thinking of trying Cookes of Dublin for a QS lunch one day - opinions and reviews please - thank you!!!!

We love it the scallops and chips are very good. I thought it was very authentic and even better than the Yorkshire Fish and Chips in Epcot.

The pie and chips are amazing, went lots of times and always good though one time they gave us about 4 chips with it and i had to go ask them for more but they gave me them right away.

Cookes is the one restaurant at WDW that is off my list for good. 2 strikes and you are out with me. The food took way too long to be served at peak lunch time with hardly anyone in there, the tables were dirty and the fish had no flavor. I actually prefer the Yorkshire Fish & Chip shop in Epcot (but their portions are getting tiny).

I like it. Far better than the fish n chips at England in Epcot.

Really good...we were pleasantly surprised. Chicken pie with chips is delicious (and very filling). We went at a non-peak time so we got a table; I've heard that they'll let you sit at the bar inside Raglan Road if Cookes doesn't have seating available.

First of all, we waited for ages to be served. There was only 1 family in front of me in the queue and they were not difficult customers - just a straightforward order just like ours. :confused3

Since they were not busy, we easily got a table outside. The wait was excessive for our meal, but at least it was freshly prepared for us.

The portions were large, but were pretty tasteless and most of ours ended up in the bin. I don't think we'll be back to Cooke's anytime soon, unless DH decides he'd like to try a D'oh Bar!

The food there is really nice esp the Doh bars. :thumbsup2

only thing we didnt like was all the flies that kept pestering us, not had a problem anywhere else.

We enjoyed Cookes of Dublin very much. We did have a bit of a wait but it was well worth it because our food was cooked to order and fresh and hot when we received it.

As a bonus, it has great desserts! I had a yummy soft serve snickers ice cream cone. It was one of the few lunch desserts I actually ate!
