The best advice you can have is to start NOW to plan for the adulthood you want, where you can afford to buy an annual pass and hotel, food, as often as you like. That means college, trade school, or other means of securing a well-paying job. How are your grades? What classes are you taking? Activities? Service hours? Are you looking into scholarships, or have you planned for funding? At 15, NOW is the time to be working towards your goal. Not later.

Start investing in a Roth IRA now, too. You will not regret it when you're older.

All of the above. Save up some money in a Roth IRA, save up some for a future Disney trip. In only a couple of years, you could qualify for the Disney College Program. I know that seems like a long time from now when you're young, but it will be here before you know it. Then, you can convince your family to come down, you'll be making your own money, and you'll be able to treat them to the parks with your main entrance pass!

Having been able to go to WDW at all is an incredible privilege. But as for APs, you're still young. I bought my first AP in my mid-20s, and there are many years ahead to experience a place that you (and most of us here) really enjoy.

I already have started now! :) I have a 4.3 something GPA right now Freshman year, do lots of extracurriculars, service hours, and I plan on taking lots of AP’s and applying for scholarships. I am right now (betting it’s going to change) planning to go to college to get my masters in nursing. As of right now, I want to be either a NICU or ICU nurse practitioner.

I wonder by taking my son so many times to Disney as a child, that he'll want something like this for Christmas when he is older!

Everyone values different things, everyone has different levels of disposable income. So what your family does with their money is your business.

That being said, you know your family. Don't ask for something more than your parents are comfortable doing, no matter how much you can justify the cost.

My mother thinks I am crazy for getting an AP for my family this year, and she isn't even paying for it!
