We're WDW veterans--been there so many times I've lost count. We're new empty nesters--our baby is a freshman in college this year. My DH turns 50 in October and I'm thinking a trip to WDW is just the thing to celebate this milestone (he doesn't want a surprise party).
DH is an avid golfer. I'm thinking of doing a premium package for the first half of his birthday week and then going to a basic plus dining package and having the kids join us for the end of the week. Before the kids got there he could golf and take lessons. We have two kids in college and our oldest is getting married next year so I can't go all out.
We love the GF and WL. Our primary reason for staying in the deluxe resorts was the availability of a day bed or bunk beds. (DS and DD did NOT want to share a bed on vacation.) That's not such a concern now--I'd be willing to get a second room at a moderate if we needed to.
We've celebrated lots of kids' b-days with Mickey but no adult birthdays. Looking for hints. Please share your ideas!
