We bought 250 pts at Vero because we will be going there during the Dodger training season and knew we would need the earilier booking window.

Oh no, I think I heard that the Dodgers are moving to Arizona and that this is the last year for them at Vero. I believe it was in the latest Members mag. Sorry to share bad news. Its still a wonderful resort.

Am considering a Vero add on, our home resort is BWV. We have visited and thought it was a beautiful resort, but have never stayed there. Would love to hear from people about their opinions good and bad about the resort and the surrounding area.

Well.. IMHO... I would never own anything, condo, 1st or 2nd res, townhome or a timeshare in "hurricane alley" !!! Check out the "dues" for VB after the 05 hurricane season when they were closed for a few months.

How about adding on to your "home"? There are certainly other beach resort options ie..hotels, rentals to consider and many cheaper in the long run.

Just for the record... I love VB We go to VB 2 out of 3 of times we stay at DVC.

Still, we don't own there. So far we're not having problems getting ressies there, but then we don't ever try to stay during holiday periods.

I expect though that now with SSR completed, AKV in process, KTR, coming, maybe some treehouses, and who knows what else is in the tubes, that with all those new non-beach resort owning members that VB & HHI are going to become much harder to acquire each year at 7 months.

If you didn't own anywhere else I might discourage a VB purchase, but since you own at BWV then I think it is sensible to buy into VB.
