Convertings tix to AP

Has anyone converted tickets ordered from mapleleaf to annual passes? We ordered the 7 day stay and play; with park to park access and City Walk access.
Just wondering about how much it would cost to upgrade these to APs when we go. I know that WDW doesn't always give full purchase price credit if ordering from a vendor.
Thinking it might be worthwhile depending on the amount US credits.

The non-resident Preferred AP is $229.00 plus tax so you would deduct whatever you paid for the tickets and pay the difference.
