Converting to an ap

i have some tickets that have a few days left and I see that I could convert them to AP Platinum, if I do that is the date I convert the start date or is it the first day I used the 7 day pass?

The Tickets sticky on the Theme Parks board might be helpful — https://www.disboards.com/threads/all-about-tickets-upgrades.3570721/. My understanding is that you would have to upgrade within 14 days of first use and that the anniversary of the AP would be the first day the 7-day ticket was used.
