Convert to VWL

I bought into DVC in 1992 and have always stayed at OKW whenever I visited WDW.
This time I stayed at VWL and, to my surprise, I liked it better than OKW!
Yes, I do know how much bigger the OKW rooms are, but I found out how much more interesting the theming was at VWL; how much easier the transportation was; how great it was to wander over to the beautiful lobby and the breathtaking pool area; and how much I loved the location on Bay Lake.
Maybe I should give the other resorts a chance as well?

this Aug will be our first vacation at Beach Club Villas -
of course I couldnt give up our Wilderness Lodge "home" completely so we will stay in the Lodge 3nights before switching over

Our past visits to the Lodge include: 01 Lodge 9nights, 02 day visit,
04 6nights VWL and now 05 we're going back to the Lodge 3nights

When I went to buy resale I wanted BCV. I just loved it there. I ended up finding a resale for VWL and bought it hoping to change out at 7months. In the mean time I had added on from disney 45 BCV and then 150 BCV. I finally got to stay at both and I liked VWL better. I love the smaller resort feeling. I still love my BCV and SAB and would never give it up, but I love the theme at VWL. BCV is just too close in theme to where I live My lesson was learned. I now want to try them all. In less than 80 days I'll be at BWV and I hope I like it, but not too much that I want to add on there too!

we also loved our stay at WL. we did think of buying a resale for WLV but decided on SSR due to the extra years so our kids could enjoy it to its fullest. if we do any type of add-on it will definitly be at WL. just a perfect place to stay

Yes, I think "sampling" all the DVC resorts is a great idea!

Just be warned...each has its own allure and charm. You may just be tempted to start buying points at each of them after a stay!


BTW, I can't argue with your assessment of VWL!
