conventions at the S/D in June?

I read on some earlier boards about conventions that might be at WDW. Is there any place to go to see what activities will be functioning during our stay in June 13-22?

Also, this is my first time at the Dolphin. I also became a SPG member, but aside from staying at other resorts, how does one earn points? Can I earn points with my current June reservation?

Yes, you will earn points with your June stay. I joined SPG before our stay at the Dolphin this past July and received SPG points for our stay.
There were two HUGE conventions at the Swan/Dolphin while we were there, but they didn't really interfere with anything. In fact, during the day, the pool and the buses and Friendship boats were empty because all the convention people were at meetings. One night the Grotto pool was closed for the conventioneers' use, but the lap pool was available.
