convention/DP ?

DH and I are going to stay at the YC while I am attending a convention. I am getting a convention rate on the hotel. I would like to get the DP. Can I? Or will I not qualify since I am getting the room through Disney's group reservations? I called them to ask, but the office is closed. Does anyone here know if the DP is available when booking this kind of room? Thanks!

Usually not because you are getting a room discount already. But it's always worth asking because occasionally policies change or perhaps your room isn't discounted. You would also have to buy at least 1 day park passes as well to get the ddp and the less expensve convention tickets can't be part of a package.
