I will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel, and was planning to bring some cereal or something for my little ones in the morning. Wheres the closest location to get milk. Is there a convenience store close by?
At White Water Snacks in the GCH. It's pricey, but the alternative is a long walk. There is a 7eleven at the corner of Harbor and Katella, it's not grocery store cheap, but better than the hotel gift shops.

And just a note about White Water Snacks...look for the full sized grocery items. They are definitley cheaper per serving! When I was there in September I bought a two liter of soda for the EXACT SAME PRICE as the 20 oz bottles in the same store. Also, a bag of six (I think it was six) bagels was basically the same price as one individual bagel. Because of the DVC villas they have a few more grocery items than a normal hotel snack area, just compare prices if you have room and need for larger amounts.
If you're looking for quite a few items, there is a grocery delivery service from www.Vons.com with a minimum order (maybe $50?) and delivery fee (maybe $8?). I thought I had heard of a close by convenience store that delivers for free?
Down Harbor Blvd (accessible by bus) there is a Target that sells milk and dry grocery items. Also north on Harbor is a Henry's Farmer's Market. There are Ralphs in the area too. www.Ralphs.com (a Kroger company)
There is a convienece store at the Tripicana In and suiets on the street. Its a little bit hidden but they stock all the basics as well as beer and other things. Its not overly expencive I didnt think. Its only a 5 min walk from the gate of DLR.
