Is there anywhere within walking distance of the Disneyland Hotel to buy a 12 pack of soda or some water bottles or juice to put in the fridge in the room?
If you don't want to pay the onsite prices. About 10 minutes from the park gates, down at the intersection of Katella and Harbor is a 7eleven and an ABC Market.

The 7eleven isn't so far that you need a car. It's walkable.
You can also take ART from the other side of the security check down to a Target. Or take a cab. Von's Delivery as suggested may work too. These can all add cost. If this sounds good you may want to go to the convenience store in the GCH, it's in White Water Snacks, not cheap but it's there..
I've been looking into doing that myself. I'm staying at the Anabella which is across the street from California Adventure. I did a google search and found Food4less at (1616 West Katella Avenue Anaheim) I'm at 1030 West Katella Ave--Google maps shows it to be 1 mile, Not sure if it's acurate. Does anyone know of this grocery store or have walked to it? Maybe this is OK to walk to, not sure.

Yes it is about a mile to the west of the Annabella. I haven't walked there, but have driven down that way many times. It's not in the nice resort area that the parks and hotels are. I have heard of people walking there, but it is quite urban, and a long way to carry groceries back.
I've been in that store, and it is okay, nothing fancy.
In my experience, taking the ART and going to Target is a better option, but if you want to walk to Food for Less and carry the liquids you can do that. Those water bottles/soda are going to feel pretty heavy, though, after awhile.
I've only been in a handful of Food4Lesses, aren't they all the same or is my sample too small and nice one are out there?

I checked out Google maps street view which is Cool for both of the routes--the 7-11 and the Food4less and looks like the 7-11 is in a more secure location with an easy walk. But, if original poster will allow me to ask a question--How does the cost of bottled water (or juice)at 7-11 compare to buying from the resorts or Disney? Can you buy Gallon jugs?
I think they are basically the same. My comment is basically for those who don't have experience with Food 4 Less. It was an okay store. I prefer the Target on Harbor.
I think there's also an Albertsons (down the side street from Target), and I would go to Target over that grocery store, too.
I had considered Vons delivery, but I think I read that they have a 50 dollar minimum order to deliver? If so, this is really more than I needed. I simply wanted some beverages and maybe some granola bars to have in the room. We're used to WDW where we use the refillable mugs once we head back from the parks in the evenings.

I would just walk to 7eleven after being in the parks for that.
The $50 and Vons usually are stated together because of a seperate reason.
Vons waives the delivery charge for your first order when it's over $50. Otherwise the minimum is $49. Not so great when it's easy to find free delivery codes for later orders get free delivery, but as always you need to first have a $49 order.
