I've added ice to my little fish pond. One year, I didn't keep track of things and my fish died of heat exposure. Usually the leafy covering can provide shade, but the heat wave we're having now seems to be worse than that year.

BB was good in her crate, and she has done her daily business outside, so I don't expect any problems. If I wake up to use the facilities in the night, I probably will see if she wants to go outside.
