Continued Confidence in Waitlists

I know the topic of waitlists comes up from time to time, so I want to let those who are concerned whether waitlists work or not that they do!!!

I found out today that my midvisit waitlist for HHI came through. Originally, the Wednesday of my trip was unavailable for all room types. Following some advice from a previous post, I even called MS to see if there was any new availability. Of course, they said there wasn't any and it would automatically occur should the room become available. Then three days later, when I checked on the member website the waitlist did go through!

I was most concerned about this waitlist being that it was HHI and there were no DVC alternatives. But even in a "remote" site pixie dusts happens! So far I've been 100% on waitlist request.

I hope this gives confidence to others who are contemplating putting in a waitlist request!

Our waitlist came thru for first week in January just a couple of days ago. Was booked at SSR - now at BWV boardwalk view - exactly what we were hoping for!
We are very happy! Yippee waitlist!

Thanks we are looking forward to it since it will be our first trip to HHI. It's much better knowing that we will not have to pack-up to stay in a Marriott for one night!

A few years ago, we were waitlisted for two 2 bedrooms over Thanksgiving and got it. Now we are booked at SSR (studio) and wait listed for BWV during ESPN weekend.

We are booked 2 Bdrm OKW HH for March 15-22. Have been waitlisted for AKV Standard View 2Bdrm for 4 months. No luck yet...

We are booked for 4 nights at BWV in April. We want a 2-B BW view for all 4 nights, but only got 2 and waitlisted for the other 2. I just got one of the waitlisted nights yesterday
