The instructions for DME return say that the luggage charges have to be pre-paid in order to check in your luggage at POP for your return flight.

I can't figure out out to pre-pay for the luggage on continental.com.
I'll that I can make out, is that you can pre-pay when you check-in on-line.

When I check in on-line for my flight to MCO, can I also pre-pay for the luggage
charges for my return flight? If not, how is this done if you're staying at POP? (They don't have any computers available for guest use.)

I'm thinking I might be able to check in for my return flight using my Iphone, but I've never tried this either.

Thanks!

There will be a flyer in your room that gives you the number to call to prepay for your checked bags. When you call, and after paying for all checked bags, they will give you a confirmation number that you take downstairs when you check your bags. Or, you can go downstairs to the airline check-in stand and they will direct you to a telephone in the lobby to make the call and prepay. I'm positive you could also do this with your i-Phone, but that's just not my expertise.

Read post#1 from Chip n Dale Express. Great information:

And when you call that number, it won't be Continental you'll be calling. You'll be calling BAGS Inc., the subcontractor that runs Resort Airline Check-in for Disney.

Thanks!

Is there an additional charge for using this service or will it be the same price that Continental charges?

There is no additional charge, they only charge you what the airline baggage fee is. Be prepared to be on hold for a while. If it is a busy time, it can take up to 20 minutes to get through to someone. This is not always the case, but it does happen.

When you actually take your luggage down to the airline check in desk, it is appropriate to tip a few dollars for each bag. Think of them as a Skycap service. Well worth it, in my opinion, to bypass the airline counter at the airport - with your boarding pass in hand. :lovestruc
