Does anyone have any idea when Continental will release their flights for November 07?

By early December. Most airline CRS's allow booking for major airlines by 11 months and some one day less than a year from the current date. If your beginning and ending travel dates are both now less than a year off, you could try calling CO to see if their system is accepting reservations yet.

Yep, as Bob said, right around the start of the new year. Personally, I wouldnt reccommend booking those flights right when they are realeased as they tend to go down within a few months of release...

Is your date Jersey week 07? I would start looking with CO 1 year & maybe one week. CO puts there's out sometimes sooner than the other airlines.

Yes, if you want a good price shop EARLY for Jersey week!!! Usually the ball park of $200.00 per round trip

I for one always shop for prices as soon as they open up the airfare, prices have NEVER gone down for my flight, like my flight coming up was only 179. round trip and I just checked it and it is at 889. And I will not pay that much for a flight that is not really as early as I use to be able to get nor is it none stop as it use to be either.

I fly down about 3 times a year and I always plan a year in advance, so I get the cheapest I can, now remember that you local airport has a lot to do with prices too.

Yes, it is for Jersey Week; Nov. 3 - 11, 2007. I checked Continental website and right now they are only booking up through 10/18/07, but I'll keep checking every day, and hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks they'll have Nov.

If Continental is high when the rates first come out, you may want to check Jetblue. They haven't released their flights for the latter part of the year yet, but their rates are a tad cheaper than Continental (assuming that you're leaving from Newark). Good luck!

This year I waited for Jet Blue in the hopes that their rates would be lower than Continental, and that was a mistake. They didn't release their rates until April and the rates were sky high, and Continental's rates had already gone up. So this time I'm going to try to see if I can get Continental at a low rate when they are first released. The fares for Jersey week are always high!!

michboro, I booked my 1 year & 1 month. I used Delta, & got my fare for 125.00 per round trip non stop ticket. This year was a quickie thrus to sund

Last year, Jersey week, I booked it for Tues to Sunday, & got the fare for $110.00 RT non stop Delta Song both from LGA to MCO

I am hoping for the same for next year. Last December,everyone was out Christmas shopping & I was searching on the net, for Nov fares. My DH thought I was crazy.

Did the same for President's week 2007. Got my fare for $200.00 round trip EWR to MCO & MCO to LGA (one quick stop on the way down)

My opionion, is, it really pays to buy early

I checked Continental and today they are booking through the 19th of Oct., and yesterday it was the 18th, so it looks like as if they are incrementing by one day each day. If that is the case, then maybe I will book 2 one way trips. As soon as the first date of my trip becomes available I'll book that, and then wait until a week later to book the return trip. Otherwise, I'm afraid if I wait for both dates to be available together as roundtrip, the departure airfare will have gone up, because the prices are cheapest as soon as flight info is released. Is this recommended?
