continental airline complaint w/ kids

we had two flights on Continental last week and they showed a movie "Dodgeball" with Ben Stiller on both flights. It was NOT at all suitable for children. Anyone had a similar experience and what did you do about it? Thanks!

my experience with continental is that for all their bragging about being the best in customer service they aren't...

we had a horrible situation with them - when customer service could only offer $200 travel vouchers that would expire before we could use them, I wrote to Gordon Bethune. Twice. No response. Nothing. Nada. When someone writes to the president of my company a response must be given within 24 hours.

i can't stand them and avoid them when i can.

ps - you could try calling Customer Service - they seem willing to give out travel vouchers!

Thanks Sue! I might write to them . We had never used Continental before. And now, sure doubt we will again. It was horrible. I still cannot believe they showed that film on a flight full of kids.

I don't really like Continental. One of their hubs is Newark, so I can not understand why the service is so crappy there. I prefer American but sometimes the price is better over at Continental.

As to the movie, you don't have to watch it. That's why they give the headphones out. I understand that Orlando is mainly a family destination, but even when I went to Vegas, there were plenty of children on the plane.

ETA- I didn't mean to flame, just stating my opinion.

I know as an adult, you can choose not to "watch" the movie. But even without the headphones, this movie had a lot of sexual and S&M parts in it and when the screen is right in front of your child's face..............
