The resort you're speaking of is Bay Lake Towers, a Disney Vacation Club resort. We have not, either, but we will be staying there in January when we run the half marathon. It looks absolutely beautiful and I'm sure that, if you're interested, it will be a wonderful stay. Hope that helped!

I didn't know that Bay Lake Towers is a a Vacation Club resort. We are not members of the Vacatiob Club so I guess we will not be looking into staying there. If $$ permits we want to stay at the Contemporary Tower
Holidays are tough to book on cash. But pretty much every time I've looked at BLT for a cash stay, there has been availability. Definitely worth a try, I wouldn't let the fact that it's a popular DVC discourage anyone from trying to book it on cash.
It's all right; no great shakes. We stayed there once and realized we would have been better off at the Contemporary -- everything is there anyway (check in, restaurants, shopping, arcade, etc)..
