we are going to WDW in early dec. and staying at the CR. Has anyone stayed there recentley?I was wondering how it is working out with all the people from the Shades of Green staying there. Is the CR more crowded than usual, and is it as good as it has been in the past?

We just returned and it was our first time there. We were upgraded from a standard to a lagoon view in the South Wing. The bedroom/bathroom were very spacious. Our room #6110 was on the first floor with a patio and we had a great view of the electric water parade at 10pm. We were actually sorry we didn't reserve longer than 2 days because of the convenience of the monorail and Magic Kingdom.

I also just got back. The place was busy but never overly crowded. I never noticed a large line at check in and always found it easy to talk to someone at guest services. We never waited too long for a monorail or a bus. The one day, our last morning we used the ferry to go to Fort Wilderness for breakfast and when we went out there was a ferry ready to go to WL. When we said we were going to FW, he said he would be happy to take us. The food court was always busy, but never full and the game room was the same. We enjoyed everything about the place. Also did laundry twice and had available machines.
